Overview

Turbo Jobs (“Turbo Jobs”, “we”, “us”) helps you tailor your CV and cover letter to specific job postings using AI. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, web app, and Chrome extension.

Data we collect

• Account data. When you sign up we collect your name, email address, and authentication identifiers. Authentication is handled by Google Firebase Authentication.
• Application content. The CVs you upload, job descriptions you paste or import, and the tailored CVs and cover letters we generate for you.
• Billing data. If you subscribe, payments are processed by Stripe. We store your subscription status and customer identifier, but we never receive or store your full card details.
• Usage data. Basic technical and product-analytics information such as device and browser type, pages visited, and feature usage, used to operate and improve the service.

How we use your data

• To provide the core service: generating and storing tailored CVs and cover letters.
• To create and manage your account and authenticate you.
• To process subscriptions, payments, and billing.
• To operate, secure, debug, and improve our product.
• To communicate with you about your account, changes to the service, and support requests.

AI processing

To tailor your application, the content you provide (your CV and the relevant job description) is sent to third-party large-language-model providers acting as our processors. This content is used only to generate your results. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your CV or application content to train our own or third parties’ public models.

How we share data

We share personal data only with service providers who process it on our behalf, including hosting and database providers (Google Firebase), payment processing (Stripe), and AI model providers. We may also disclose data when required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public. We do not sell your personal data.

Data retention

We retain your account and application content for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual CVs and applications at any time from within the app. When you close your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. You can also manage much of your data directly in the app.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to promptly address any issues.

Children

Turbo Jobs is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
